Upon Starry Nights
to the heaven's delights
when all is calm and all is right
upon this most magical night.
Look to the sky up on high
and there where the heaven's lie,
where do so the angels cry.
Oh star so lovely full of light,
why is it we so delight
as do others in suffering plight,
struggle through the darkest night?
Wish I may wish I might
to find in this world a child's way,
to see the world as one
Like the moon the sun.
Star on heaven high,
When we ask ourselves why,
when know that it is i wise
to look within
for that which we attribute
to the will others sin,
one can not refute
like the sound of a trumpet flute
that when all who are good stand mute,
it is we whom bare the fruit
of those seeds thus been planted
it is we whom have thus granted
all that grows from he ground
in the darkness that lies all around.
But not in sorrow gaze
at the stars most heavenly blaze
for even in the darkest night
oh star how you shine so bright
that we know that even we might
one day see our own new light
like fire flies which flicker with delight
in the stillness of the quiet night.
